The Ocmulgee Regional Library System is excited to celebrate Americas 250th anniversary with the Georgia Reads for America250 Beanstack Reading Challenge. This statewide program runs from March 3 through December 31 and is open to all ages, including early readers, elementary students, middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults.

Taking part is simple. Read at least one book from the curated America250 reading list and complete one activity from each of the eight historical categories. When you do, you complete the challenge and become part of a statewide celebration of history and reading.

We are offering great prizes for registering and participating, and we will announce the winner of our first drawing at the end of March. Sign up early so you do not miss your chance.

How to Join

Visit orls.beanstack.org to create an account or sign in. Once you are logged in, select the Georgia Reads for America250 Challenge and begin reading and logging. If you need help, stop by any ORLS branch and our staff will be happy to assist you.
