Ocmulgee Regional Library System is seeking an IT Manager to fill a crucial role in the organization. This role directly affects our ability to provide exemplary service to the community.
ORLS serves seven counties in central Georgia. This position is based in Eastman, GA, and requires some travel to member libraries.
Starting Salary: $58,000 – $60,000 without MLIS; $63,000 – $65,000 with MLIS

Summary of job responsibilities:
This is a full-time, exempt position under the general supervision of the Director. This position is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of the library’s computer systems. This position also oversees troubleshooting hardware, operating system, and application-related problems, as well as planning for and responding to service outages and other issues. This is an in-person job and requires travel to all seven locations of the Ocmulgee Regional Library System, headquartered in Eastman, Georgia.

Special working conditions: Work in a library environment; sustained posture in a standing or seated position for prolonged periods of time; perform lifting, crouching, and pushing; extensive keyboard usage; involves travel to other locations.
