Resources
A purpose for a library system to offer its patrons a website to reach out to patrons and other people who may not always be able to visit the library regularly. Also, librarians are portals to information from a broad spectrum of sources. For these and other reasons, the regional library offers a few digital resources to you that have been researched, viewed, or created by librarians.
Web Resources
Web Resources contains categories of subjects. Each subject is a link to another page that will contain numerous weblinks to some type of website that relates to the subject. There are over 20 subjects on this page and hundreds of links associated with these subjects.
Reader’s advisory is a professional library service the staff of the Ocmulgee Regional Library System offers to the patrons of all the member libraries.
We also encourage you to use our Reader’s Advisory Contact Form and a professional librarian will contact you shortly with authors and reading genres you might want to check out.

How to Snag Free or $1 Summer Beach Reads – Time Magazine
If your vacation plans include a little light summer reading, you couldn’t ask for lighter fare this year. Most of us won’t be packing any physical books to go along on our vacations; we’ll just whip out some kind of device and download something. But while the downloads might be wispier than air itself, most books, digital downloads or not, still come with a hefty price tag.
