Free Passes

9792378Any Georgian who holds a valid library card from a participating public library system can check out a ParkPass folder for up to seven days. Folders include an annual ParkPass that exempts visitors from paying the daily parking fee at any Georgia state park, an annual Historic Site pass good for free admission for four visitors to any of Georgia’s 18 state historic sites. It also includes a copy of the “Guide to Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites” featuring descriptions, photos, directions and a map of all 63 state parks and historic sites.

The passes are available for checkout at all library locations. The checkout period is 7 days.

 

6762066The Go Fish Education Center is part of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division. The Go Fish Education Center gives visitors a fun and interactive look at Georgia’s diverse aquatic wildlife and natural habitats. Among the facility’s most popular attractions are its freshwater aquariums, interactive fishing, boating and shooting simulators; a stocked pond for fishing; and underwater habitats from mountain streams to blackwater swamps that feature live alligators and other wildlife.

The checkout period is 7 days. The pass may be renewed once.  Present the pass with your library card at the Go Fish Educational Center for up to 6 family members.

 

2827121One Zoo Atlanta Family Pass is available for checkout in each participating public library. The pass may be checked out once per year, per card, per household, and is valid for two adults and up to two children. The pass is not valid for fee-based events or programs and may not be combined with other discounts or promotions. Standard general admission will apply to families with additional children; children must be accompanied by an adult.

Visit your local library and checkout the Zoo Atlanta DVD. The checkout period is 7 days.  When you return the DVD, library staff will fill out a form that serves as your family pass.Take the pass and your library card to Zoo Atlanta within one week of receiving your pass. The pass is good for two adults and two children.

Carlos Museum.  The family pass allows up to six member into the museum at no cost.  The museum collects, exhibits, and interprets art and artifacts in order to provide unique opportunities for education and enrichment in the community, and to promote interdisciplinary teaching and research at Emory University.

The checkout period is 7 days. The pass may be renewed once.  Present the pass with your library card at the Michael C. Carlos Museum for up to 6 family members.
