Wheeler County Library

Are you prepared for a disaster?

On loan from Georgia Southern University, this wonderful exhibit covers the basics of disaster preparedness. From tornadoes to hurricanes, disasters strike when we least expect, and the key is in preparation. Informative panels outline steps for safety, lists of items to include in a kit, and additional resources that you can access. Accompanying the exhibit panels is also a display case that contains examples of items to include in a safety kit.  Thank you to Georgia Southern University for allowing us to host this for our community! This exhibit is available until December 18th.
