The state of Georgia has an amazing opportunity to get the clearest picture we’ve ever had of internet strength and quality around our state. Through a special arrangement with the internationally respected company, OoklaFwd: Email and social content you can use to spread the word about the Georgia Speedtest, we have been given access to look at the signal strength & quality for every Speedtest taken.
We need as many Georgians as possible to take the Speedtest on their computers and phones through August 31st. Without that participation, we’re missing an opportunity to get a clear picture of what our citizens are working with (or perhaps struggling with) in relation to internet connectivity. This information, along with the maps on the Broadband Initiative site, is vitally important right now to schools as they map out their digital learning strategies.
