WHEELER COUNTY LIBRARY

The Wheeler County Library is located in Alamo, Georgia, 120 miles east of Savannah. The county is primarily rural with two main towns, Alamo and Glenwood.

In July 2000, the Wheeler County Library joined the Ocmulgee Regional Library System. The new library facility was opened to the public on November 30, 2004

The Wheeler County Library offers public access computers, genealogy and local history resources as well as circulating books and periodicals to our patrons.
